Platinum Gold is used to performing for high profile events. They are one of a select number of function bands who have been invited to play at the world's only 7 star hotel, the Burj Al Arab in Dubai, and they are the house band for BBC after show parties. Platinum gold also perform as a backing band for named artists, and very recently backed the finalists for Galaxy FM’s “Search for a star” at The Sage in Gateshead. Cheltenham’s 7000 strong crowd were treated to four days of euphoric hits at the 2006 races.
